Every camera on your phone, recording at once.
A dashcam app for Android phones and tablets that records the road and the cabin at the same time, keeps recording with the screen off, locks the clips around a crash, and maps every trip. No account, and nothing is uploaded.

Road and cabin together
Every camera the phone can run at once, by default, each in its own file. The app shows the real resolution and says plainly when a camera has to wait.
Records with the screen off
Recording runs in the background with a notification. Dim the screen or use navigation; the dashcam keeps going.
Every trip on a map
Route, distance, duration, top speed, and incidents. Tap any point on the route to watch every camera at that moment.
About Double Dashcam
A dashcam records one view. Double Dashcam turns an Android phone or tablet into one that records every camera the device can run at once, usually the road ahead and the cabin, each in its own video file, all covering the same moment.
It keeps recording with the screen off, so the phone can dim or run navigation while it works. Clips loop inside a storage limit you choose, an impact locks the clips around it, and GPS speed, heading, and position are kept with every clip. It can also offer to start when you plug in or when the car's Bluetooth connects.
Every drive is a trip on a map with its distance, top speed, and incidents. Tap the route to watch what the cameras saw there, play every camera in sync, and export one view or two side by side. There is no account, no ads, and no analytics: the videos stay on your phone and out of its backups.

Common questions
Which phones can record two cameras at once?
Phones running Android 10 or later. How many cameras run together depends on the phone's camera hardware; the app finds out on first launch, turns on every camera it can run, and shows what it is recording.
Does the map send my location anywhere?
Trip maps load map images from OpenFreeMap, which sees the area being shown. Your trips, videos, and positions themselves never leave the phone.
Where do my videos go?
Nowhere. They stay in the app's private storage and are left out of backups. Nothing leaves the phone unless you save a clip to your gallery or share it yourself.
